Kuban takes the fourth place in the Russian Federation ranking on level of agricultural companies export development

In 2022, the Krasnodar Territory was the 4th region in the rating of level of exports of agro-industrial complex. The study was published by the Federal Center for the Development of Exports of Agricultural Products of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.

The Territory was in the first group of participating regions (those with the highest volume of the agro-industrial complex economy) with index 398.

«There are about 5,000 certified for export companies. Attestation is carried out free of charge by Rosselkhoznadzor employees for compliance with the requirements of foreign countries for the products that companies are going to send,» said Anton Karmazin, Deputy Head of Rosselkhoznadzor.

The Republic of Adygea took the 12th place in the third group of the list (regions with an average volume of the agro-industrial complex economy) with index 271. The Crimea, with index 222, holds the 24th place in the second group.

When dividing the regions into groups, the indicators of gross regional product (GRP) in agriculture and manufacture with a dedicated share of food production, production of beverages and tobacco products in 2022 prices were taken into account.
