Alexander Tkachev Said: “Abinsk Electrometallurgical Plant Is One of Those Unique Investment Projects That Dramatically Change the View of Kuban As an Agricultural Or Resort Region!”
During working visit on July 21, 2014 to the Abinsk district, the governor of the Krasnodar region visited the Abinsk Electrometallurgical Plant.
Today, the AEMP is one of the leaders of the industrial production in Kuban. Just four years ago, its first stage was opened, and now, nearly 2,000 people work here, and the construction of the third stage is on fast-forward.
Since the beginning of 2014, the plant produced 428 thousand tons of reinforcement and 408 thousand tons of steel cast billet; the volume of shipped products reached 7.5 billion rubles.
- This is one of those unique investment projects that dramatically change the view of Kuban as an agricultural or resort region, Alexander Tkachev said during his visit to the plant.
Large-scale production is not only thousands of work positions and respectable tax revenues, but also an active social partnership, also the head of the region believes. For example, the Abinsk plant invested its funds in construction of the residential estate for its employees including school and kindergarten.
- This practice should become the norm in all the municipalities of the region, the press service quotes the words of the head of the region Alexander Tkachev.
Discussing the prospects of the industry in the region continued at the meeting, which took place at the plant. It was attended by heads of relevant departments and enterprises.
